Deaf Football
The Scottish Deaf Football Association (SDFA) focuses on developing futsal and football opportunities for deaf (hearing impaired) players of all ages, gender and levels. SDFA now has four clubs competing against each other as well as participating in mainstream leagues on a weekly basis (Scottish Futsal Leagues).
The SDFA caters for both domestic and international activities.
The SDFA is leading opportunities for more deaf people to participate in Futsal and Football throughout their lives and for more deaf players to perform on the world stage.
To be eligible to participate in the Domestic and International sanctioned competitions, deaf players require to have at least 55dB on better ear. For more information on how to get involved, contact SDFA.
